- Manage customer orders from enquiry to final shipment.
- Coordinate product development, sampling, costing, and order confirmation.
- Communicate with buyers regarding order status, approvals, and shipment schedules.
- Prepare accurate product cost sheets and negotiate pricing with suppliers.
- Coordinate with sourcing, planning, production, quality, and logistics departments.
- Monitor production progress and ensure on-time delivery.
- Follow up on lab dips, fabric approvals, trims, accessories, and sample submissions.
- Ensure products comply with customer specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor inventory of raw materials and coordinate procurement as required.
- Prepare Time and Action (T&A) calendars and track milestones.
- Resolve production and quality issues with cross-functional teams.
- Coordinate inspections with internal QA and third-party inspection agencies.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, social compliance, and sustainability standards.
- Prepare and maintain merchandising reports, order trackers, and shipment documentation.
- Support business development by identifying opportunities with existing customers.
- Bachelor's Degree in Textile Technology, Fashion Technology, Textile Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Additional certification in Merchandising or Export Management is preferred.
- Experience
- 8–12 years of merchandising experience in the home textile export industry.
- Minimum 3–5 years in a Senior Merchandiser role.
- Experience handling international buyers from the USA, Europe, UK, and Australia is preferred.
