Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Engineer to oversee construction activities, ensure quality workmanship, coordinate with project stakeholders, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage site operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities at project sites.
- Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Verify material quality and maintain inventory records.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Monitor labour productivity and allocate resources effectively.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, BOQs, and technical documents.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Ensure timely completion of work while maintaining quality standards.
- Prepare measurement sheets and support billing and documentation activities.
- Attend client and project coordination meetings as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in construction site execution.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site management.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Good understanding of quality control and safety standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Office.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel between project sites when required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in residential and commercial building projects.
- Knowledge of project planning and scheduling tools.
- Experience with quantity estimation and BOQ preparation.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
