Job Description – Warehouse Supervisor / Warehouse Manager
The Warehouse Supervisor / Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and distribution of materials, equipment, and supplies. The role ensures efficient warehouse processes, compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, inventory accuracy, and effective supervision of warehouse staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise receiving, warehousing, and distribution activities.
- Manage inventory levels through regular stock counts and system reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with safety, warehousing, and shipping regulations.
- Establish and maintain warehouse security procedures and protocols.
- Monitor warehouse facilities and equipment, coordinating maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Prepare and manage budgets, control expenses, and achieve operational objectives.
- Schedule, assign, train, and supervise warehouse employees.
- Evaluate employee performance and provide coaching and development.
- Implement and improve warehouse processes, policies, and operational standards.
- Prepare reports and analyze operational data to improve efficiency.
