Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Architect & Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of enterprise-grade network infrastructure for a large-scale port modernization and surveillance project. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in network architecture, routing & switching, security, fiber networks, industrial networking, and high-availability systems.
This role requires a strategic thinker who can design scalable network solutions while also being capable of hands-on deployment, troubleshooting, and field implementation.
Key ResponsibilitiesNetwork Architecture & Design
- Design enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, and Optical Fiber network infrastructure.
- Develop High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.
- Architect scalable and high-availability network solutions.
- Design redundant network topology with automatic failover.
- Plan future network expansion and modernization initiatives.
Network Engineering & Deployment
- Install, configure, and maintain enterprise routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure.
- Configure VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, VRRP/HSRP, ACLs, QoS, Multicast, and routing protocols.
- Optimize network performance for high-bandwidth IP surveillance and industrial applications.
- Deploy and integrate optical fiber backbone networks.
- Support field implementation across remote and industrial locations.
Security & Compliance
- Configure Next Generation Firewalls (NGFW).
- Implement IPS/IDS, VPN, Network Access Control (NAC), and security policies.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and industrial networking regulations.
- Maintain secure network architecture for mission-critical environments.
Operations & Troubleshooting
- Conduct site surveys and network assessments.
- Perform RF and connectivity surveys.
- Diagnose complex routing, switching, and hardware issues.
- Provide Tier-3 technical support and root cause analysis.
- Coordinate with project teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
Documentation
- Prepare network diagrams and topology maps.
- Create configuration templates.
- Develop SOPs and technical documentation.
- Maintain asset inventory and change management records.
