Job Description
1. Responsible for Procurement of IT Hardware, IT software & Cybersecurity for Siemens Ltd – Smart Infrastructure
2. Pooling of Demand across various Business Units in SI
3. Single point of contact with supplier for this commodity
4. Mandatory involvement in sourcing decision during Bid & Execution Stage in Projects
5. Frame and Rate Contracts for the commodities and Products
6. Implementation of Global contracts across the Business units
7. Supplier Management (Market scan, Prepare & implement Supplier Strategies, Supplier Qualification, Supplier database for commodities)
8. Ensure usage of correct ESN codes resulting in Correct Purchasing
9. Develop cost model with help of Cost value engineers (if applicable)
10. Tracking of price and technology trends for the commodity – Information Sharing through Commodity Report
11. Periodic Commodity meeting with BU’s
12. Risk Mitigation through alternate source identification.
13. Periodically connects with Global Commodity Managers for information sharing and updates.
14. Drive Cybersecurity topics with Vendors to ensure compliance and mitigate Risks.
15. Drive the usage of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Procurement.
16. Support IT Hardware & Software procurement in GSW business
