Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Lab Assistant for the Mechanical Engineering department. As a Lab Assistant, you will be an integral part of the academic and research activities within the mechanical engineering labs.
Responsibilities:
Lab Management: Take charge of day-to-day operations in the mechanical engineering labs, ensuring a safe, organized, and efficient working environment for students and faculty.
Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain mechanical lab equipment, machinery, and tools. Collaborate with the maintenance team for repairs and upgrades when necessary.
Assistance to Faculty: Support faculty members during lab sessions by assisting students with technical aspects, providing guidance on experiments, and ensuring a smooth flow of activities.
Inventory Management: Manage inventory for lab supplies, tools, and equipment. Place orders for new supplies and equipment as required.
Technical Support: Offer technical assistance to students and faculty, addressing concerns related to machinery operation, equipment setup, and safety protocols.
Collaboration: Collaborate with fellow lab assistants, faculty, and support staff to ensure the efficient functioning of the mechanical engineering labs.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Technical Skills: Proficient in mechanical lab equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, faculty, and staff.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage lab resources effectively.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
