About the Role
Topland Engines Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience maintaining industrial machinery within a heavy fabrication or manufacturing environment. This role is critical in ensuring maximum machine uptime, preventive maintenance, and safe electrical operations throughout the plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance on industrial machinery.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults in CNC machines, fabrication equipment, and plant utilities.
- Maintain and repair electrical control panels, MCCs, VFDs, PLC systems, motors, transformers, and industrial wiring.
- Diagnose faults using electrical drawings, multimeters, insulation testers, and other diagnostic tools.
- Ensure uninterrupted operation of fabrication equipment including:
- CNC Plasma & Oxyfuel Cutting Machines
- CNC Plate Drilling Machines
- EOT Cranes
- Air Compressors
- Welding Machines
- Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems
- Maintain plant lighting, DG sets, utility power distribution, and electrical infrastructure.
- Execute preventive maintenance schedules and maintain maintenance records.
- Coordinate with production teams to minimize equipment downtime.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and company safety policies.
- Assist in installation, commissioning, and upgrades of new machinery.
Required Qualifications
- ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
- 3–8 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
- Experience in heavy fabrication, steel manufacturing, engineering, or industrial production environments.
- Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and control panel drawings.
- Knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, servo systems, sensors, and industrial automation is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Mitsubishi, Siemens, Fanuc, or similar industrial control systems is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and respond quickly to machine breakdowns.
