Key Responsibilities
- Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on the institution’s electrical systems, including switchgears, transformers, circuit breakers, and lighting networks.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose electrical malfunctions using testing devices (e.g., multimeters, clamp meters), and promptly repair or replace faulty wiring, switches, and fixtures to minimize downtime.
- Power Management: Monitor and maintain campus power distribution units, backup generators, and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) to ensure an uninterrupted power supply.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all electrical installations and repairs strictly comply with national and state electrical safety codes, as well as institutional hazard protocols.
- New Installations: Assist with planning, wiring, and installing new electrical systems, equipment, and upgrades across the campus.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of all maintenance work, repairs performed, and electrical equipment inventory.
- Emergency Response: Be available for on-call duties or respond immediately to campus power outages and urgent electrical safety hazards.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
