Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Educational Counsellor to guide prospective students in selecting the right educational programs. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and counselling skills, be target-oriented, and provide end-to-end support throughout the admission process.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding courses, admissions, and career opportunities.
- Understand students' educational background and career aspirations to recommend suitable programs.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
- Follow up with leads and convert inquiries into admissions.
- Explain course details, eligibility criteria, fee structure, scholarships, and the admission process.
- Maintain accurate student records.
- Resolve student queries promptly and professionally.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly counselling and admission targets.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong counselling, convincing, and negotiation skills.
- Good interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Target-driven with a positive attitude.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Experience in educational counselling, admissions, telesales, or customer support is an added advantage.
