Job Summary
Daask Construction Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsman to join our design and construction team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate architectural drawings, working drawings, construction details, and technical documentation based on architectural concepts and project requirements.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of architectural drafting, construction drawings, building materials, and relevant drafting software, with the ability to coordinate effectively with architects, engineers, contractors, and site teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed architectural plans, elevations, sections, and working drawings.
- Develop construction drawings and detailed drawings as per project requirements.
- Prepare floor plans, furniture layouts, door/window schedules, and other architectural details.
- Convert architectural concepts and sketches into accurate technical drawings.
- Prepare drawings for residential, commercial, and other construction projects.
- Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, and other engineering drawings.
- Make necessary revisions to drawings based on architect, client, consultant, or site requirements.
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable building codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Take site measurements and prepare as-built drawings when required.
- Coordinate with the site execution team to resolve drawing-related issues.
- Maintain proper records and revisions of all project drawings.
- Assist architects and project managers with design documentation and presentations.
- Prepare drawings for approvals and submission to relevant authorities, when required.
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and timely completion of all assigned drawings.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in architectural drafting or construction.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
- Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, 3D visualization, or other design software will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of architectural drawings and construction details.
- Knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and detailing.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in residential and commercial construction projects.
- Knowledge of local building regulations and approval procedures.
- Experience in preparing BOQ-related drawings and construction documentation.
- Basic knowledge of structural and MEP coordination.
- Experience with BIM/Revit will be an added advantage.
