We are a software training and development organisation based in Nayapalli, Bhubaneswar.
We are looking for a proactive and business-minded Technical Trainer & Centre Head who can manage the day-to-day operations of our training centre, conduct technical sessions, support student admissions, organise workshops, and help grow the business.
This is not a teaching-only position. The selected candidate should be willing to take ownership of the centre and actively contribute to student acquisition, course planning, business development, and revenue growth.
The role is suitable for an experienced technical trainer, software developer, corporate trainer, faculty member, or professional interested in building a long-term career in the IT training and education sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily activities and operations of the training centre
- Conduct technical training, demo classes, workshops, and practical sessions
- Counsel prospective students and explain available training programmes
- Follow up with enquiries and support admission conversion
- Plan and launch job-oriented technical courses
- Organise seminars, webinars, coding workshops, and career guidance sessions
- Build relationships with colleges, placement cells, faculty members, and student communities
- Coordinate with freelance trainers and external experts when required
- Maintain records of enquiries, admissions, batches, attendance, and revenue
- Support marketing activities and promotional campaigns
- Create practical course content based on current industry requirements
- Help develop internship, live-project, and software development programmes
- Provide regular reports on centre activities, admissions, and business performance
Preferred Technical Skills
Candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas are preferred:
- Java and Spring Boot
- Python
- Full Stack Development
- JavaScript, React, Angular, or Node.js
- Software Testing and Automation
- Data Analytics
- Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI
- Cloud and DevOps
- Mobile Application Development
- Databases and SQL
Candidates do not need to have expertise in every technology.
Strong communication, training ability, initiative, and business-development skills are equally important.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in technical training, software development, IT education, or a related field preferred
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to conduct classroom and online training
- Comfortable speaking with students and parents
- Willingness to follow up with enquiries and support admissions
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Entrepreneurial and ownership-oriented mindset
- Basic understanding of the software job market and student career requirements
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities
- Good knowledge of English, Hindi, and Odia preferred
