Job Description
Ajfan International LLP is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and financial activities for our hotel/hospitality operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage daily accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments and expenses.
* Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
* Handle cash, bank and daily revenue reconciliation.
* Verify hotel sales, POS transactions and payment collections.
* Prepare daily, weekly and monthly financial reports.
* Manage accounts payable and receivable.
* Monitor hotel expenses, petty cash and operational costs.
* Perform bank reconciliation and ledger scrutiny.
* Assist with GST, TDS and other statutory compliance.
* Coordinate with auditors, vendors and internal departments.
* Maintain proper documentation and supporting records for all transactions.
* Monitor food & beverage purchases, inventory-related accounting and cost records.
* Identify discrepancies, unusual expenses and accounting errors and report them to management.
* Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance.
* 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in Hotels, Restaurants, Hospitality, Retail or FMCG.
* Good knowledge of Tally / ERP and MS Excel.
* Knowledge of GST, TDS and basic statutory compliance.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills.
* Good communication and coordination skills.
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
