Since 2018, we’ve redefined the traditional expert network model with a tech-driven approach that delivers high-impact insight at the speed of modern dealmaking. Arbolus stands out through its unique database of customer reviews accessible via the Arbolus Customer Review Library, Canopy, our market-first automated Q&A tool, and our unmatched standard of client service, because great technology should always be backed by great people.
Headquartered in London, Arbolus is a venture-backed scale-up with 170+ employees across four global hubs, including Barcelona, New York, and Gurgaon. Following a $20M Series B, we are rapidly expanding our U.S. presence as we execute our mission: to digitize human knowledge and make it instantly accessible and actionable.
The Role
Arbolus is looking for a Manager, Global Procurement & Workplace Engagement to build and lead the function that keeps our global operations efficient, cost-effective, and genuinely enjoyable to work within. This is a hybrid strategic/operational role spanning two disciplines that rarely sit under one leader - procurement (vendor strategy, sourcing, contracts, cost management) and workplace engagement (office experience, employee engagement programs, culture initiatives, and facilities across our global hubs).
You'll be the person who ensures Arbolus buys smart, spends wisely, and creates workplaces - physical and cultural - that people want to be part of, whether they're in Barcelona, London, New York, or working remotely.
This role suits someone who is equally comfortable negotiating a SaaS contract and designing an employee engagement calendar; someone who sees procurement discipline and workplace experience as two sides of the same coin: making Arbolus a more effective, more human place to work.
What You'll Do:
Global Procurement
Own end-to-end procurement strategy across the business: vendor sourcing, negotiation, contract management, and renewal cycles for software, facilities, professional services, and other third-party spend.
Build and maintain a global vendor management framework, including approved vendor lists, performance reviews, and risk/compliance checks.
Partner with Finance, IT, and department heads to forecast spend, identify cost-saving opportunities, and drive procurement best practice across regions.
Lead RFP/RFQ processes for major contracts and ensure consistent, auditable procurement governance.
Manage relationships with key suppliers and landlords across Arbolus's global office footprint.
Workplace Engagement
Own the end-to-end employee workplace experience across all Arbolus hubs - physical office environment, amenities, and day-to-day operations.
Design and run a global engagement calendar (culture events, team offsites, recognition programs, wellbeing initiatives) that works for a distributed, multi-office workforce.
Act as the voice of the employee experience, gathering feedback and translating it into tangible improvements to how and where people work.
Manage relationships with facilities vendors, office managers, and local operations leads across each hub.
Partner closely with People/Talent and Marketing teams to ensure workplace initiatives reflect and reinforce Arbolus's culture and employer brand.
Leadership & Strategy
Build out and lead a small, high-performing team (or manage a network of local office/operations leads) as the function scales.
Develop and own the annual procurement and workplace budget; report regularly to leadership on cost savings, vendor performance, and engagement outcomes.
Bring a global mindset to a company operating across multiple countries, time zones, and cultures - balancing local needs with global consistency.
What We're Looking For
7+ years of experience in procurement, vendor management, workplace/facilities, or operations leadership, ideally with exposure to both disciplines.
Proven track record negotiating and managing vendor contracts, with strong commercial and analytical judgment.
Experience designing employee engagement or workplace experience programs in a multi-office or hybrid organization.
Comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels - this role will require building processes from scratch as well as executing on the ground.
Strong stakeholder management skills; able to work cross-functionally with Finance, People, IT, and regional leadership.
Experience working in a fast-growing, international, or PE-backed company is a strong plus.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority across geographies.
Based in or willing to work from London or Barcelona, with willingness to travel to other Arbolus hubs periodically.
