Business Development Executive (BDE) – IT Services
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, generate, and close new business opportunities for software development services through platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, LinkedIn, and other lead-generation channels.
- Bid on projects related to web development, mobile app development, custom software development, SaaS solutions, and other IT services.
- Prepare customized proposals, project estimations, and business presentations based on client requirements.
- Engage with prospective clients, understand their business needs, and recommend suitable software solutions.
- Coordinate with technical teams to assess project scope, feasibility, timelines, and resource requirements before submitting proposals.
- Conduct client meetings, requirement-gathering sessions, negotiations, and follow-ups to convert leads into business opportunities.
- Build and maintain long-term B2B relationships with clients to drive repeat business and account growth.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, proposals, negotiations, and project closures in CRM systems.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and market opportunities in the IT services sector.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in Business Development, Online Bidding, or IT Sales within a software development or IT services company.
- Proven experience in B2B sales and client acquisition for software development services.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in B.Tech, B.E., MCA, BCA, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of software development services, including web applications, mobile applications, SaaS products, and custom software solutions.
- Experience in handling international clients and managing end-to-end sales cycles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong proposal writing, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand technical requirements and effectively communicate solutions to clients.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CRM tools and sales pipeline management.
- Prior experience working with international B2B clients.
- Knowledge of software project estimation and solution selling.
