We are looking for an experienced and innovative Principal Software Engineer to join the Development team supporting Fortra’s cybersecurity platforms and products.
This role is responsible for enhancing and maintaining existing software products while also contributing to the development of new solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a passion for solving complex engineering challenges in an Agile environment.
You will:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications and platforms.

Enhance existing products and contribute to new product development initiatives.

Work extensively with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, SPA architecture, HTML, CSS/SCSS, AWS, and Kubernetes.

Utilize AI-assisted development approaches to improve engineering productivity and innovation.

Collaborate with cross-functional and remote teams across multiple geographies.

Drive Agile/Scrum methodologies within active projects.

Coordinate project activities and provide technical leadership to engineering teams.

Work with Linux environments and CI/CD pipelines.

Contribute to DevOps and deployment activities using tools like Jenkins, Git, and Jira.

You should have experience with:

15+ years of software engineering experience.

Proven experience in a Senior Software Engineer or Principal Engineer capacity.
