Job Purpose (Significance of the role & Objectives)
Design, detailing and developing of welding and assembly fixture of full vehicle BIW & EMS Battery Production.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables

Design, detailing and developing of welding and assembly fixture for EMS Battery production and BIW.

2D and 3D designing for EMS Battery and BIW fixtures.
-
BOM creation and self-quality checking.
-
Responsible for detailed engineering design of complex parts in the project.

Battery and BIW fixture assembly sequencing.
-
Performs basic engineering calculations to verify design integrity.
Desired Qualifications: Required Qualification, Knowledge, and Experience

Software skills: - solid-works/ UG NX, Auto-Cad.

Proficient knowledge on GD & T , stack up analysis .

Good knowledge of material selection, manufacturing processes and its limitations.

Ability to identify, estimate and mark the dimensions prior to designing.

Exposure to Welding Lines Process & Layout (Spot Welding, ARC welding).
-
Experience in method planning, series tool design and manufacturing concepts of battery and BIW Parts.

Knowledge of Selection of Materials, Awareness of Various Global and IS Standards for Material and Testing.

Willing to learn any new technologies required for the role.

B.E. / B-Tech / in Mechanical.
