Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Auditor to ensure total labor compliance, payroll accuracy, and site operational governance across all KCIC client sites in Tamil Nadu.
Reporting from our Anna Nagar Regional Office, the incumbent will conduct periodic statutory audits, verify site-level muster rolls and billing data, perform unannounced site inspections, and safeguard the organization against legal and financial liabilities under Central and Tamil Nadu Labor Laws.
Key Responsibilities1. Statutory & Labor Compliance Audits
- Audit compliance with the Contract Labour Regulation & Abolition (CLRA) Act, maintaining valid Principal Employer certificates and contractor licenses across active client sites.
- Conduct regular audits of PF, ESIC, Professional Tax (PT), Minimum Wages, Bonus, and Gratuity filings and monthly payment challans.
- Verify that site-level mandatory registers (Muster Roll, Overtime Register, Register of Fines/Deductions, Register of Advances) are updated and physically available at all client locations.
2. Site Inspections & Field Deployment Verification
- Conduct periodic and unannounced on-site physical audits across tech parks, metro stations, commercial hubs, and hospital deployments in and around Chennai.
- Cross-check physical manpower on-duty against biometric attendance records and monthly client billing sheets to eliminate discrepancies or "ghost workers."
- Verify site-level compliance regarding Uniforms, ID Cards, Safety Gear (PPE), and mandatory Police Verification records for field staff.
3. Payroll, Attendance & F&F Verification
- Audit pre-payroll inputs, OT calculations, shift allowances, and wage rates against current Tamil Nadu State Minimum Wage notifications prior to monthly disbursement.
- Audit Full & Final (F&F) settlement records to ensure statutory timeline adherence and accurate benefit payouts.
4. Audit Reporting & Corrective Actions
- Prepare clear HR Audit Risk Reports (High, Medium, Low Risk) for management after every site inspection.
- Formulate and drive Corrective Action Plans (CAPA) with Site Operations Managers and HR field executives to bridge compliance gaps within strict timelines.
- Act as a key coordinator during client compliance audits or statutory inspections by government labor authorities.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources (MBA/PGDM), Law (LLB - Labor Laws preferred), Commerce, or Social Work (MSW).
- Experience: 3+ years of overall HR experience with at least 2 years exclusively handling HR/Labor Compliance Audits in a Facility Management, Security, or Contract Labour Staffing environment.
- Legal Expertise: Deep understanding of Tamil Nadu Labour Laws, CLRA, Factory Act, Minimum Wages Act, and statutory return filing processes.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in Tamil and English is mandatory for communication with site supervisors, client managers, and labor officials.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel to various client sites within Chennai and surrounding industrial zones.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
