Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Sales Head – Medium Voltage Products to lead sales and business development for our Medium Voltage product portfolio, including RMU, VCB Panels, Compact Substations (CSS), HT Panels, FRTU, and Power Distribution Solutions. The role involves driving business growth, managing key customer relationships, leading the sales team, and expanding our presence across utilities, EPC, industrial, infrastructure, and renewable energy sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual sales and growth targets.
- Drive sales of RMU, VCB, CSS, HT Panels, FRTU, and related MV products.
- Identify new business opportunities with Utilities (BESCOM, MESCOM, HESCOM, CESC, ESCOMs), EPC contractors, industries, renewable energy, and infrastructure projects.
- Build and manage relationships with key customers, consultants, distributors, and channel partners.
- Handle techno-commercial discussions, customer presentations, and commercial negotiations.
- Lead government and utility tender participation, including technical compliance and proposal submissions.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Service teams for smooth project execution and payment collection.
- Lead, mentor, and monitor the performance of the sales team.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and develop new market opportunities.
- Represent the company at customer meetings, exhibitions, and technical seminars.
Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (MBA preferred).
- 10–20 years of experience in the Medium Voltage electrical industry.
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership role selling RMU, VCB, CSS, HT Switchgear, or Power Distribution Products.
- Experience with utility business, EPC projects, and tender management is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of MV switchgear products, IEC standards, utility specifications, and approval processes.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and customer relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM, and ERP systems.
