We are looking for a Quality Engineer with hands-on experience in the tooling industry to ensure product quality, process compliance, and continuous improvement. The role involves inspection, documentation, root cause analysis, and coordination with production to maintain high standards of quality, reliability, and reproducibility.
Key Responsibilities Quality Control & Inspection
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of tooling components
- Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and customer requirements
- Use precision measuring instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, Profile Projector, CMM (basic knowledge)
Documentation & Systems
- Prepare and maintain Inspection Reports, FAI, PPAP documents, Control Plans, SOPs
- Maintain traceability and proper record control
Process Improvement
- Support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Assist in reducing rejections, rework, and process variation
Production & Cross-Functional Support
- Work closely with manufacturing, tooling, and design teams
- Support process audits and internal audits
- Assist in new tool development and validation activities
