Roles & Responsibilities:
- Dispensing medications: Accurately dispense prescribed medicines and IVF-related drugs to patients.
- Prescription verification: Review and validate prescriptions to ensure correct dosage, drug interactions, and patient safety.
- Inventory management: Maintain stock of medicines, monitor expiry dates, and ensure availability of essential drugs.
- Patient counseling: Educate patients on medication usage, side effects, and adherence to treatment schedules.
- Regulatory compliance: Ensure compliance with medical regulations, hospital policies, and statutory requirements.
- Collaboration with doctors: Work closely with IVF specialists, consultants, and nursing staff to support patient care.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Qualifications: Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) / Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) / Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm)
- Registration with Pharmacy Council preferred.
- Strong knowledge of drug formulations, IVF-related medications, and patient counseling.
- Ability to work in a hospital environment with accuracy and dedication.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, drug usage, and patient medication history.
- Quality assurance: Uphold high standards of pharmacy practice and contribute to patient safety initiatives.
