We're looking for a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join our steakhouse team. If you thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, have a strong foundation in Continental cuisine, and take pride in consistency and quality, we'd love to hear from you.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing daily kitchen operations.
- Prepare and execute Continental dishes with a focus on steaks and grilled meats.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, plating, and portion control.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness.
- Manage mise en place and ensure smooth service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory, minimise wastage, and support stock management.
- Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes and brand standards.
- Coordinate effectively with service staff to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP in a Continental restaurant or steakhouse.
- Strong knowledge of steak preparation, grilling techniques, sauces, and Continental cuisine.
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and rotational shifts.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
