- Design and develop mechanical systems for color sorting machines including feeders, chutes, frames, and structural assemblies.
- Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software (SolidWorks/Creo/AutoCAD).
- Work on sheet metal design, fabrication drawings, and assembly structures.
- Optimize designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability.
- Collaborate with electrical, software, and production teams for system integration.
- Support prototype development, testing, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and machine safety norms.
- Handle BOM preparation and design documentation.
- Troubleshoot design-related issues during production and installation.
- Guide and mentor junior designers.
