Position: Mechanical Engineer – Machine Assembly & Production
Job Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The role focuses on the assembly, integration, testing, and commissioning of industrial machinery using components sourced from approved vendors. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working on the shop floor and possess strong mechanical aptitude for building, aligning, troubleshooting, and optimizing machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical systems and machinery according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings, assembly instructions, and bills of materials.
- Perform fitting, alignment, drilling, tapping, cutting, grinding, and modification of fabricated components when required.
- Install bearings, shafts, motors, gearboxes, belts, chains, pneumatic systems, and other machine elements.
- Conduct machine testing, calibration, and performance verification.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults during assembly and commissioning.
- Coordinate with vendors regarding component quality and fitment issues.
- Maintain assembly documentation, quality records, and inspection reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturing best practices.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assembly efficiency and product reliability.
Requirements
- Experience in machine assembly, fabrication, maintenance, or industrial equipment manufacturing preferred.
- Familiarity with machine elements, fabrication processes, and workshop tools.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Hands-on attitude with willingness to work on the production floor.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with pneumatic or hydraulic systems.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and quality control processes.
- Familiarity with industrial machinery commissioning and testing.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
