We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer / System Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize the organization's IT infrastructure and application deployment processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring system availability, security, scalability, and performance by implementing DevOps best practices, automating deployment pipelines, and administering cloud and on-premises environments. The role requires close collaboration with development, QA, and security teams to support the complete software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment.
- Administer and manage Linux/Windows servers, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), and virtualized environments.
- Deploy, configure, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security using monitoring and logging tools.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Perform system upgrades, patch management, backups, disaster recovery, and capacity planning.
- Troubleshoot application, server, network, and infrastructure issues to ensure minimal downtime.
- Implement security best practices, including access control, vulnerability management, SSL certificate management, and system hardening.
- Manage source code repositories and deployment workflows using Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline software releases and environment management.
- Prepare and maintain system documentation, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and business continuity of production systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in DevOps Engineering or System Administration.
- Hands-on experience with Linux/Windows administration, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins/GitLab CI, Terraform/Ansible, and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, scripting (Bash, PowerShell, or Python), and infrastructure automation.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
