We are looking for an experienced and skilled Senior CSSD Technician to join our team at Meditrina Hospital, Kollam.
Qualification
- Diploma / B.Sc. in Central Sterile Supply Technology (CSSD)
- Relevant professional certification will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 8+ years of experience in CSSD operations
- Experience in a NABH-accredited hospital is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise day-to-day CSSD operations.
- Ensure proper decontamination, cleaning, packing, sterilization, storage, and distribution of sterile supplies.
- Operate and monitor sterilization equipment such as ETO, Autoclave, and other sterilizers.
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control standards and hospital policies.
- Maintain sterilization records, monitoring logs, biological/chemical indicators, and traceability documentation.
- Coordinate with OT, Nursing, Infection Control, and other clinical departments for timely supply of sterile instruments and materials.
- Ensure proper handling and segregation of contaminated instruments and materials.
- Monitor equipment functioning and coordinate preventive maintenance and servicing.
- Train and guide junior CSSD technicians and support staff.
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety, hygiene, and patient care.
- Ensure compliance with applicable NABH standards and CSSD protocols.

✔ Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
✔ Ability to work efficiently in a hospital environment
