About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Engineer to join our urban liaison team in Chennai. The role involves preparing technical drawings for large-scale projects and handling statutory approval coding and documentation for DTCP (Directorate of Town and Country Planning) and CMDA (Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority).
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare building plans, layout plans, and site drawings using CADD software for residential, commercial, and large-format projects.
- Handle DTCP and CMDA coding, plan submissions, and approval documentation in line with statutory norms.
- Coordinate with government authorities and internal teams to track approval status and resolve technical queries.
- Verify drawings for compliance with local building rules, FSI/FAR norms, setbacks, and other planning regulations.
- Support site verification and measurement checks as required for approval processes.
- Maintain accurate records of drawings, approvals, and correspondence with authorities.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in CADD drawing preparation and DTCP/CMDA approval processes.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and other CADD tools.
- Familiarity with DTCP and CMDA coding, submission procedures, and local building regulations.
- Good coordination and communication skills for liaising with government departments.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
