Role Objective
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our daily financial operations. The ideal candidate will handle everything from basic bookkeeping to complex financial reporting, ensuring our business remains fiscally sound and compliant with all statutory regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date ledgers, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare and file GST returns, TDS calculations, and ensure compliance with all local and central tax laws.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing annual budgets and monthly cash flow forecasts to support business scaling.
- Payroll Management: Process monthly payroll for staff, ensuring accurate deductions and timely disbursements.
- Vendor & Client Liaison: Reconcile vendor statements and manage timely invoicing and payment follow-ups with clients.
- Reporting: Prepare monthly profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cost-analysis reports for management review.
- Audit Support: Coordinate and provide necessary documentation for annual financial audits.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com/M.Com).
- Experience: 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the interior design, manufacturing, or real estate sectors.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Expertise in Tally Prime or similar ERP software.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Deep understanding of GST and Indian taxation norms.
- Attributes: High level of integrity, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to meet strict month-end deadlines.
