Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Utilities Reports Designer/Developer with strong expertise in Oracle Utilities applications such as Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service (WACS) and Field Force Solutions (FFS). The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and supporting operational and analytical reports for utility business processes.
The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF), reporting tools, database technologies, and utility domain processes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain reports for Oracle Utilities WACS/FFS applications.
Develop operational, analytical, and ad-hoc reports using BI Publisher, Oracle Reports, SQL, and PL/SQL.
Work closely with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Create data models, report templates, dashboards, and data extracts.
Develop interfaces and reporting solutions using Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF).
Optimize report performance and database queries for large datasets.
Support report deployment, testing, troubleshooting, and production support activities.
Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure reporting accuracy.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including functional consultants, integration teams, and business users.
Prepare technical design documents, unit test cases, and deployment documentation.
Participate in requirement analysis, solution design discussions, and estimation activities.
Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Strong experience in Oracle Utilities products such as WACS, FFS, CC&B, MDM, or C2M.
Hands-on experience in BI Publisher / Oracle Reports development.
Strong SQL and PL/SQL programming skills.
Experience with Oracle Database concepts, performance tuning, and query optimization.
Knowledge of Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF).
Experience in XML, XSLT, data templates, and report bursting.
Good understanding of utility domain business processes.
Experience in report migration and deployment activities.
Exposure to integration technologies and web services is an advantage.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
Experience with Oracle Analytics / OTBI / Power BI is an added advantage.
Knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), SOAP/REST APIs, and middleware technologies.
Exposure to Asset Management, Work Management, and Field Operations modules in WACS/FFS
Additional Information:
5+ Years in Oracle Utilities with experience in Oracle Utilities Reports Designer/Developer (WACS/FFS).
This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
