Job Summary:
We are seeking a Level 3 (L3) Network Engineer responsible for the design, implementation, and support of enterprise LAN, WAN, and Data Center networks. This role serves as the final technical escalation point, owning complex incident resolution, root cause analysis (RCA), network architecture, performance optimization, and security initiatives.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and support LAN, WAN, and Data Center network infrastructure

Act as L3 escalation point for complex network issues and lead root cause analysis (RCA)

Manage routing and switching technologies including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, and VXLAN
-
Support firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN solutions, and network security controls

Lead network upgrades, migrations, hardware refreshes, and performance optimization
-
Ensure high availability, redundancy, and scalability of network services

Maintain accurate network diagrams, standards, SOPs, and documentation

Mentor L1/L2 engineers and provide technical leadership.
Required Skills:
-
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, and advanced network troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with routing & switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, HSRP/VRRP)
- Experience with enterprise networking vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco FTD)
- Expertise in firewalls, site-to-site VPNs, remote access VPNs, and SD-WAN
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Zabbix, Wireshark)
- Strong understanding of network security principles and segmentation.
Qualifications:

Experience in enterprise networking environments
- Proven experience in L3 escalation handling and incident ownership
- Experience supporting campus, data center, and WAN infrastructure
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Experience in enterprise or MSP environments preferred
