Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and technically inclined Field Testing & Inspection Associate to assist in the inspection and testing of mechanical equipment at factories, industrial plants and client locations.
The employee will visit client sites, assist in conducting inspections and tests, record equipment details and test readings, take photographs, collect supporting information and coordinate with the office team for preparation of reports and test certificates.
No previous testing or inspection experience is compulsory. The selected candidate will receive practical training regarding inspection procedures, testing equipment, safety requirements, documentation and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit factories, industrial plants and other client locations for inspection and testing assignments.
- Assist senior or authorised personnel in inspecting mechanical equipment.
- Learn and follow the company’s approved inspection and testing procedures.
- Identify equipment and record its name, identification number, capacity, location and other technical details.
- Take accurate measurements and record test readings.
- Assist in operating testing and measuring instruments under proper supervision.
- Conduct visual checks for damage, wear, corrosion, leakage, deformation or other visible defects.
- Take clear photographs of equipment, identification plates, test setups and observations.
- Maintain field notes and ensure that all required information is collected before leaving the site.
- Coordinate with client representatives during site visits.
- Communicate inspection requirements and request necessary documents or equipment details from clients.
- Share inspection details, readings, photographs and observations with the office documentation team.
- Assist in preparing inspection reports and test-certificate information.
- Review drafted reports and certificates to confirm that field information has been entered correctly.
- Maintain proper records of completed and pending assignments.
- Handle testing instruments, tools and safety equipment carefully.
- Follow all client-site safety rules and use the required personal protective equipment.
- Report unsafe conditions, equipment defects or unusual observations to the supervising person.
- Travel within Indore and to other locations in Madhya Pradesh when required.
- Perform other inspection, documentation and coordination responsibilities assigned by the company.
Important Responsibility
The associate will collect information, assist with testing and report observations accurately. Final reports and test certificates will be reviewed and approved by the appropriately authorised or competent person. The associate must not alter readings, omit defects or independently approve any certificate without authorisation.
Eligibility
- ITI, Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Engineering preferred.
- Minimum 2 years experience in relevant fields required.
- Candidates from other relevant technical trades may be considered if they possess good mechanical understanding.
- Previous experience in industrial inspection, quality control, maintenance, production or field service will be an advantage but is not mandatory.

- Ability to take and organise clear site photographs.
- Good communication skills in Hindi.
- Basic written and spoken English.
- Ability to communicate professionally with clients and factory personnel.
- Responsible, punctual, honest and willing to learn.
- Ability to follow technical instructions and safety procedures.
