Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering management, or equivalent area
6+ years of experience in engineering program or project management, with a focus on DevOps, SRE, and cloud infrastructure delivery within enterprise SaaS environments
Deep working knowledge of DevOps toolchains and platforms — including CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), IaC (Terraform, Ansible), and cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) — sufficient to evaluate technical tradeoffs and hold engineering teams accountable to delivery quality
Proven track record managing Agile delivery at scale using SAFe, LeSS, or custom frameworks, with hands-on experience in Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps Boards to manage backlogs, sprint cadences, and program-level roadmaps across multiple concurrent workstreams
Strong command of engineering productivity and delivery metrics including DORA (deployment frequency, lead time, MTTR, change failure rate), OKR/KPI frameworks, and capacity planning models used to drive data-informed team performance decisions
Experience managing engineering budgets, vendor contracts, and cloud cost optimization initiatives, including chargeback models, reserved instance strategies, and procurement cycles in a multi-tenant SaaS context
Familiarity with PCI-DSS compliance requirements, audit trail management, and data residency regulations as they apply to DevOps delivery pipelines and infrastructure operations in retail SaaS platforms
Own end-to-end delivery of DevOps and infrastructure programs — managing scope, timeline, budget, and quality — while coordinating dependencies across platform engineering, security, and product teams to consistently meet SLA and release commitments
Build and scale high-performing DevOps teams of 10+ engineers by driving structured hiring pipelines, onboarding programs, career development frameworks, and retention strategies that reduce attrition and accelerate team capability growth
Establish and continuously refine delivery processes — from incident response playbooks to release governance cadences — balancing engineering agility with the operational rigor required for enterprise retail SaaS platforms serving peak traffic events such as Black Friday and seasonal promotions.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with a demonstrated ability to build trust and alignment across engineering leadership, product management, finance, and external vendor partners in high-visibility program environments
Strong leadership presence in cross-organizational settings — program reviews, incident bridges, capacity planning sessions, and executive briefings — with the ability to translate complex technical constraints into clear, decision-ready narratives and ability to foster an inclusive, psychologically safe team environment where engineers at all levels are empowered to raise risks, contribute to architectural decisions, and grow into senior technical and leadership roles
