Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled CMM Operator / Quality Engineer with hands-on experience in portable CMM systems (FARO / HEXAGON) and PolyWorks software. The candidate will be responsible for inspection, measurement, and reporting of components to ensure quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate portable CMM (FARO / HEXAGON arm) for dimensional inspection
Perform inspection using PolyWorks software
Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and CAD models
Prepare and analyze inspection reports
Conduct in-process and final inspection
Support production team in resolving quality issues
Maintain calibration and proper handling of measuring instruments
Ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering or related field
2–5 years experience in CMM inspection (Portable preferred)
Strong knowledge of PolyWorks
Good understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
Experience with FARO / HEXAGON CMM arm
Basic knowledge of CAD (NX, CATIA, SolidWorks preferred)
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience in automotive / fabrication / machining industry
Knowledge of SPC, MSA, and quality tools
Ability to handle customer inspection requirements
