We are looking for a passionate and experienced Captain to lead front-of-house service operations at our café. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, with a proven ability to manage service teams, engage with customers, and deliver premium dining experiences even at high walk in time.
Key Responsibilities:
v Supervise daily service operations on the floor to ensure smooth, efficient, and high-quality customer service.
v Greet guests warmly, present menus, and assist them in selecting food and beverages while upholding brand tone and service standards.
v Train and guide service associates, stewards, and support staff to ensure excellent performance and adherence to SOPs.
v Ensure table setups, cleanliness, and place are always maintained to the highest standard.
v Coordinate between kitchen and service teams to ensure timely food delivery and address any service delays or guest concerns.
v Handle guest complaints or special requests promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
v Maintain proper inventory of service equipment, menus, linens, and other service-related materials.
v Support the Reporting Manager in staff briefing, feedback sessions, and on-the-job training.
v Ensure all F&B service staff are well-groomed, punctual, and aligned with Manam’s brand ethos.
v Monitor billing processes and ensure accurate POS entries.
v Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and operational standards (FSSAI norms, internal audits, etc.).
Education/ Qualification:
v Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management / Hospitality Management from a recognized institute.
Experience:
v 4 to 7 years of experience in F&B service, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or captain-level role in premium hotels, restaurants or cafés.
Skills:
v Excellent communication and guest interaction skills.
v Strong leadership and team management abilities.
v Knowledge of F&B products, menu pairing, and service etiquette.
v Proficient in POS systems and basic billing processes.
v High attention to detail and commitment to service excellence.
v Ability to work under pressure and handle service peaks calmly.
