Role Description
The Video Editor at The Espresso Media will be responsible for editing and assembling raw footage into polished video content for marketing campaigns, social media, and branded materials. Day-to-day tasks include organizing and reviewing video assets, cutting and sequencing clips, adding transitions, graphics, and sound, and collaborating with designers and marketers to align visuals with brand and campaign objectives. The role also involves optimizing videos for different platforms, maintaining consistent quality and style, and meeting project timelines. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad.
Qualifications
- Strong video editing skills using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Ability to work with motion graphics and basic animation tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects) to enhance visual storytelling.
- Understanding of color correction, sound editing, and post-production workflows to deliver high-quality final outputs.
- Experience creating content for digital platforms, including social media, websites, and online advertising.
- Good sense of visual composition, pacing, and narrative structure, with attention to detail and consistency.
- Effective collaboration skills and the ability to interpret creative briefs and feedback from cross-functional teams.
- Time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred; a portfolio demonstrating recent video work is required.
