Driver Roles and Responsibilities
- Driving & Transportation Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles for transporting jewellery, staff, or materials between showrooms, workshops, and customers.
- Ensure punctual pick-up and delivery of gold, silver, or diamond ornaments to designated locations.
- Follow planned routes and schedules provided by management.
- Parking Responsibilities
- Greet customers politely and assist them with parking their vehicles safely.
- Handle customer vehicles carefully, ensuring no damage or scratches.
- Maintain proper parking order in the showroom area for easy movement.
- Return vehicles promptly to customers upon request.
- Keep parking space clean, organized, and free from obstruction.
- Safety & Security
- Maintain high alertness and confidentiality when handling jewellery transport.
- Always lock and secure vehicles during and after duty hours.
- Coordinate with showroom security staff during jewellery transfers or cash handling.
- Vehicle Maintenance
- Keep company vehicles clean, serviced, and in good working condition.
- Check fuel, brakes, tyres, lights, and insurance validity regularly.
- Report any issues or required repairs immediately to the supervisor.
- Documentation & Records
- Maintain trip logs, fuel records, and parking logs accurately.
- Ensure all driving-related documents (license, RC book, insurance) are valid and up to date.
- Professional Conduct
- Maintain a neat appearance and polite behaviour with staff and customers.
- Follow all traffic regulations and company safety policies.
- Support in showroom errands such as bank visits, government office trips, or delivery runs.
- Other Duties
- Assist in loading/unloading jewellery boxes or materials when needed.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by management or showroom head.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
