Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on product requirements.
- Work with product development teams to ensure that requirements are clearly understoodand documented.
- Conduct testing on embedded systems products using a range of testing methodologies including manual testing, automation testing, and exploratory testing.
- Identify, track, and report defects found during testing using bug-tracking tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to prioritize and resolve defects.
- Conduct regression testing on existing products to ensure that new features and changes donot negatively impact existing functionality.
- Participate in product design reviews to provide input on testability and quality aspects ofproduct features.
Required Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience in embedded product testing.
- Familiarity with requirements-based testing methodologies such as V-Model or Agile.
- Experience with software testing tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or similar.
- Experience with scripting in languages such as Python, C.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle and software testing methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
