Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced AGM – Central Stores with a strong background in managing large central warehouses/stores for high-volume organizations such as e-commerce, retail, FMCG, manufacturing, or distribution businesses. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end store operations, inventory control, material management, stock accuracy, audits, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage overall operations of the Central Store, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and issue of materials.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels and ensure stock accuracy through regular physical verification and cycle counts.
- Monitor inward and outward material movement, GRN processing, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, inventory controls, and audit requirements.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, maintenance, and user departments for timely material availability.
- Lead and supervise store personnel, ensuring operational discipline and productivity.
- Implement best practices for material handling, storage, preservation, and warehouse housekeeping.
- Generate MIS reports related to inventory, stock ageing, consumption, and slow/non-moving items.
- Ensure accurate transactions in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or other warehouse management systems.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance store efficiency and reduce inventory losses.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Central Store Management, Inventory Control, Material Management, and Warehouse Operations.
- Experience in handling high-value and high-volume inventory.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), MS Excel, and MIS reporting.
- Strong analytical, planning, leadership, and team management skills.
- Knowledge of stock audits, inventory reconciliation, and compliance processes.
Qualification & Experience:
- Graduate/PG in any discipline; technical qualification preferred.
- 10–15+ years of experience in Central Store operations, .
- Experience handling large centralized stores with multiple material categories and high transaction volumes.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
