Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately as per doctor’s instructions and regulatory guidelines.
- Review prescriptions to ensure correctness, dosage accuracy, and drug compatibility.
- Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, storage, and precautions.
- Maintain proper records of prescriptions, narcotics, and controlled medicines as required by law.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure availability of medicines and medical supplies.
- Check expiry dates, batch numbers, and storage conditions of medications regularly.
- Coordinate with doctors and healthcare staff regarding medication therapy and substitutions when necessary.
- Handle billing, insurance documentation, and pharmacy-related transactions efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, hospital policies, and safety standards.
- Manage procurement and ordering of medicines from approved vendors.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area.
- Educate patients on over-the-counter medications, healthcare products, and preventive care.
- Address patient queries and provide excellent customer service.
- Assist in stock audits, reporting, and pharmacy administration activities.
- Support hospital/clinic operations during emergencies and high patient volumes.

Qualification
- Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
- Valid Pharmacy Registration/License required
- Prior experience in hospital or retail pharmacy preferred
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
