Purchase Manager — L N Distributors, Guwahati
What you'll do:
- Raise and manage Purchase Orders for all projects
- Source vendors and get competitive quotes for materials and services
- Verify goods received at site against purchase orders
- Maintain a purchase register tracking order status, deliveries, and payments
- Coordinate with the accountant for vendor payments
- Ensure all purchases are properly documented with GST invoices
- Build and maintain vendor and supplier relationships
- Report purchase summaries to management weekly
What we're looking for:
- 2–4 years experience in purchase/procurement, preferably in construction or contracting
- Good with MS Excel for maintaining records
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Honest, detail-oriented, able to work independently
- Graduate in any discipline; B.Com or Engineering preferred
- Knowledge of government procurement is a plus
