Job Title: Databricks Engineer (Pharma)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Databricks Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Databricks and a background in the Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and supporting scalable data engineering solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data platforms.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks
- Experience working as a Databricks Engineer or Data Engineer
- Proficiency in PySpark, Spark, SQL, and Python
- Experience building and maintaining scalable data pipelines
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT and data integration
- Pharma/Life Sciences industry experience is mandatory
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support Databricks-based data solutions
- Build, optimize, and maintain scalable data pipelines
- Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and business teams
- Perform data integration, transformation, and optimization
- Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline and performance issues
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and best engineering practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure Databricks or AWS Databricks
- Knowledge of Delta Lake and cloud data platforms
- Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and Agile methodologies
