Position: Quality Officer
Department: Quality Assurance & Food Safety
Location: Plant Site
Reporting To: Quality Manager / Plant Head
Educational Qualification
- B.Tech in Food Technology / Food Engineering (Mandatory).
Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on, on-site experience in the food manufacturing industry.
- Experience in biscuit, bakery, FMCG, or processed food manufacturing will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and hygiene standards across the plant.
- Conduct routine inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Implement and maintain systems related to HACCP, GMP, GHP, FSSAI, and other applicable standards.
- Perform quality checks, sampling, testing, and maintain related documentation and records.
- Investigate quality deviations, customer complaints, and non-conformities, and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with production, stores, and maintenance departments to ensure adherence to quality requirements.
- Participate in internal audits, external audits, and regulatory inspections.
- Train shop-floor employees on food safety, personal hygiene, and quality procedures.
- Monitor sanitation practices and ensure compliance with established SOPs.
- Prepare quality reports, trend analyses, and management updates.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, GHP, FSSAI regulations, and food safety management systems.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality reporting tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment and handle cross-functional coordination.
- Strong communication and team management abilities.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
