Key Responsibilities:
- Research, report, and produce news stories across digital, video, and social media platforms.
- Conduct interviews with sources, officials, community members, and subject matter experts.
- Capture and edit photos, videos, and audio content for news coverage.
- Write accurate, engaging, and timely news articles, features, and human-interest stories.
- Create multimedia content including video packages, reels, short-form videos, and live updates.
- Monitor local events, trends, and breaking news developments in Delhi and surrounding areas.
- Verify facts, maintain journalistic integrity, and ensure adherence to editorial standards.
- Collaborate with editors, photographers, and digital teams to deliver compelling content.
- Manage social media publishing and audience engagement initiatives.
- Meet daily deadlines while handling multiple assignments simultaneously.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field.
- 1–4 years of reporting or multimedia journalism experience preferred.
- Strong news writing, interviewing, and storytelling skills.
- Proficiency in video shooting, editing, and basic photo editing tools.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital publishing workflows.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and breaking news situations.
- Knowledge of local issues and developments in Delhi is an advantage.
