Job Description: Salesforce QA EngineerRole Overview
We are seeking a Salesforce QA Engineer with strong experience in Salesforce application testing, quality assurance processes, and Agile delivery environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience validating Salesforce configurations, integrations, data processes, and business workflows while ensuring high-quality releases across Salesforce platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications to define testing needs.
- Create and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test cases, test data, and execution reports.
- Perform manual testing across Salesforce platforms, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Execute Functional, Regression, Smoke, System, Integration, End-to-End, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Validate Salesforce configurations including custom objects, standard objects, page layouts, workflows, flows, validation rules, approval processes, reports, dashboards, profiles, roles, and security settings.
- Perform API testing (REST/SOAP) and validate integrations between Salesforce and external applications.
- Use SOQL/SOSL queries for data validation, troubleshooting, and record verification.
- Support data migration and validation activities using Salesforce tools such as Data Loader and Workbench.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using tools such as Jira, Xray, and Zephyr.
- Perform deployment validation and post-release testing across sandbox and production environments.
- Prepare test execution reports, defect metrics, and quality status updates for stakeholders.
- Support UAT activities by coordinating with business users and ensuring successful sign-off.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Salesforce Administrators, Developers, Product Owners, and end users to ensure quality delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement by enhancing testing processes, coverage, and efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 4–6+ years of QA experience with 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce application testing experience.
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, including:
- Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud
- Standard and custom objects
- Workflows, flows, validation rules, profiles, roles, and business processes
- Strong experience in manual testing methodologies and Salesforce QA processes.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and sprint-based delivery.
- Knowledge of Salesforce release management and deployment validation processes.
- Experience with API testing, data validation, and integration testing.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
