Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially aware professional to produce precise 2D technical drawings and develop accurate cost estimates/quotations. You will translate client requirements and site measurements into working drawings and calculate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for cost proposals.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Drafting
Create clear, accurate, and detailed 2D production/execution drawings using AutoCAD.
Interpret preliminary sketches, architectural plans, and verbal instructions to develop final design layouts.
Update and modify drawings based on design revisions, client feedback, or site constraints.
Ensure all drawings comply with company structural/safety standards and building codes.
Estimation & Quotation
Perform accurate material take-offs from 2D drawings (calculate surface area, perimeter, linear meters, and volume).
Estimate material, labor, and hardware costs based on current market rates.
Prepare and format detailed quotations, Bill of Quantities (BOQs), and tender documents for client submission.
