1. Production Management
· Manage and coordinate production planning, scheduling, material procurement, and resource allocation to ensure efficient operations.
2. Cost Management
· Keep track of costs related to production activities, including labor, overtime, outside labor, fuel (petrol) expenses, staff meals, and transportation.
· Ensure efficient operations by optimizing workflow and ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
3. Budget Analysis
· Assess and analyze departmental budgets to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
· Conduct budget reviews and report on cost plans to the management.
4. Production Planning and Resource Allocation:
· Collaborate with project managers, designers and production team to develop production schedules and timelines.
· Holding daily operations meetings to ensure workflow is appropriately managed.
· Manage production schedules and allocate teams and resources while working closely with the production manager and supervisors.
5. Problem Solving
· Identify potential issues and points of friction within operations and implement solutions to maximize efficiency and revenue.
6. Purchase
· Oversee the procurement of materials and services, focusing on finding better suppliers and cost-effective purchasing options.
