Role Overview
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving end-to-end business growth for Active LED Videowall and Digital Signage solutions by identifying opportunities, engaging customers, developing partner networks, and managing solution-based sales across multiple industry verticals.
The ideal candidate should possess strong market understanding, solution-selling capability, and hands-on experience in handling enterprise and project-based sales in the AV/display industry.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Growth
- Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities for LED Videowall and Digital Signage solutions.
- Drive business across Retail, Corporate, Education, Hospitality, Healthcare, and Commercial infrastructure sectors.
- Generate and manage a healthy sales pipeline to achieve business targets.
- Build strong relationships with consultants, architects, PMC’s, system integrators, facility teams, and end customers.
- Develop strategic accounts and long-term business opportunities.
Solution Selling & Customer Engagement
- Understand customer applications and propose suitable display solutions.
- Conduct product presentations, demos, and solution discussions with clients.
- Coordinate with presales/design teams for technical proposals, BOQs, and solution architecture.
- Handle techno-commercial discussions, negotiations, and project closures.
- Promote value-based and specification-driven selling.
Project & Account Management
- Work closely with operations, projects, and service teams for smooth project execution.
- Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support installation planning, commissioning coordination, and customer handover processes.
- Maintain long-term customer relationships for repeat business opportunities.
Market Expansion & Channel Development
- Identify and appoint channel partners, business associates, and regional integrators where required.
- Monitor market trends, competition, and emerging display technologies.
- Explore new market segments and business models for digital display solutions.
- Represent the company during exhibitions, customer events, and industry interactions.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience & Skills
- 4–5 years of experience in LED Display, AV, Digital Signage, Commercial Display, or System Integration industry.
- Strong understanding of Active LED Videowall technologies and Digital Signage ecosystems.
- Experience in project-based and enterprise solution selling.
- Good exposure to Corporate, Retail, Education, Hospitality, or Healthcare sectors.
- Ability to independently manage customer interactions and business development activities.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with consultants, architects, and AV ecosystem will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of display technologies, pixel pitch, brightness, controllers, CMS platforms, etc. is preferred.
