Role:
The Solar Technician is responsible for installation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of solar PV systems at site, ensuring proper functioning, safety, and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Install solar panels, mounting structures, inverters, and electrical components.
- Perform DC/AC wiring, cabling, earthing, and basic electrical connections.
- Assist in system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Carry out routine maintenance and cleaning of solar systems.
- Follow instructions from site engineers and supervisors.
- Ensure safety practices and proper use of tools and equipment.
- Report issues, damages, or faults to the site engineer.
- Support loading/unloading and handling of materials at site.
Requirements:
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical or relevant field.
- 0–3 years of experience in solar/electrical work (freshers can apply).
- Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and tools.
- Physically fit and willing to work at project sites.
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
