Job Purpose
To manage and control all Body Shop operations, including accident repairs, denting, painting, insurance claim processing, quality control, customer satisfaction, profitability, and manpower productivity, while ensuring compliance with Maruti Suzuki standards and dealership policies.
Key Responsibilities1. Body Shop Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day body shop activities including denting, painting, accidental repairs, and vehicle restoration.
- Plan and monitor repair workflow to ensure efficient utilization of manpower and resources.
- Ensure timely vehicle delivery within committed turnaround time (TAT).
- Monitor workshop loading and productivity to achieve operational targets.
2. Quality Assurance
- Ensure all repairs are carried out according to Maruti Suzuki repair standards and dealership quality norms.
- Conduct final inspection of repaired vehicles before delivery.
- Monitor rework levels and implement corrective actions to improve repair quality.
3. Insurance & Claims Management
- Coordinate with insurance surveyors and companies for claim approvals.
- Review estimates, repair costs, and documentation.
- Ensure timely settlement of insurance claims and follow-up on outstanding payments.
- Maintain accurate insurance records and documentation.
4. Customer Satisfaction
- Handle customer complaints and escalations effectively.
- Provide accurate repair estimates and delivery commitments.
- Maintain high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores.
- Ensure transparent communication throughout the repair process.
5. Team Management
- Lead and supervise body shop advisors, technicians, denters, painters, and support staff.
- Conduct training and skill development programs.
- Monitor employee productivity, attendance, and performance.
- Foster a safe and disciplined work environment.
6. Financial & Business Performance
- Achieve monthly revenue, gross profit, and labor sales targets.
- Monitor paint, consumables, spare parts, and material usage.
- Control wastage and improve operational efficiency.
- Prepare MIS reports and performance reviews.
7. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to Maruti Suzuki dealership processes and audit requirements.
- Maintain workshop housekeeping, 5S standards, and safety regulations.
- Ensure equipment maintenance and operational readiness.
- Monitor environmental and statutory compliance requirements.
Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
