Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Digital Projects Manager, where you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex enterprise software initiatives. Duties
- Lead end-to-end management of digital projects, including software development, implementation, and integration within enterprise IT infrastructure.
- Develop detailed project plans utilizing tools such as Microsoft Project, TFS (Team Foundation Server), and Jira to track progress and manage resources effectively.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to define project scope, deliverables, and success criteria aligned with business needs.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across IT, software development, QA, and operations to ensure timely delivery of projects using Agile (Scrum/Kanban) or Waterfall methodologies.
- Oversee risk management processes by identifying potential issues early and implementing mitigation strategies in accordance with PMBOK standards.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders regarding project status and changes.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), develop test cases, and ensure quality standards are met before deployment.
- Support release management activities including deployment planning, disaster recovery procedures, and post-implementation reviews.
- Ensure compliance with IT governance policies and standards such as SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), ITIL best practices, and enterprise security protocols like AWS cloud security measures.
Experience
- Proven project management experience in technology environments with a focus on enterprise software solutions.
- Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies including Agile (SAFe), Waterfall, and hybrid approaches.
- Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Jira, VersionOne, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and Visio for planning and reporting purposes.
- Strong technical proficiency in cloud computing platforms like AWS and experience managing IT infrastructure projects involving databases such as SQL and Oracle.
- Demonstrated leadership in technical project & program management supervisory roles with the ability to lead diverse teams through complex projects.
- Expertise in requirements gathering, analysis skills, risk assessment, stakeholder communication, and user acceptance testing processes.
- Familiarity with software development practices including test-driven development (TDD), release management cycles, and software implementation strategies.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Effective negotiation skills coupled with strong communication abilities to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
