Job Summary
Agvito Pharmaceutical Company is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant with good accounting knowledge and preferably experience in the pharmaceutical export field. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accounts, handling accounting activities, working on MS Excel, managing customer and supplier records, and supporting export-related accounting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
- Handle purchase and sales entries, invoices, receipts, payments, and ledger maintenance.
- Maintain and reconcile customer and supplier accounts.
- Handle bank reconciliation and payment follow-ups.
- Maintain proper records of outstanding receivables and payables.
- Assist with export-related accounting and documentation.
- Maintain accounting data and reports using MS Excel.
- Prepare and maintain accounting reports as required by management.
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers, logistics, and internal teams regarding accounts-related matters.
- Check and maintain purchase and sales invoices and supporting documents.
- Assist with GST, export documentation, and other accounting-related compliance work.
- Handle and maintain BRC (Bank Realisation Certificate) records and follow up on BRC-related requirements. Candidates who have prior knowledge or experience in handling BRC will be highly preferred.
- Check daily pharmaceutical tenders and maintain relevant tender information when required.
- Ensure proper filing and maintenance of accounting and export-related documents.
- Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate in B.Com, M.Com, or a related field.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Candidates with experience in the pharmaceutical export field will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Knowledge of Tally Prime is preferred.
- Basic understanding of GST and export accounting.
- Knowledge of bank reconciliation, ledgers, receivables, and payables.
- Knowledge or practical experience in handling BRC (Bank Realisation Certificate) will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidential financial information.
Preferred Candidate
The ideal candidate should have good accounting knowledge along with practical experience in the export field, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
The candidate should be comfortable working with Tally Prime, MS Excel, invoices, ledgers, bank transactions, customer/supplier accounts, export-related documentation, and BRC-related work.
Salary & Working Hours
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month, depending on experience and knowledge.
Working Hours: 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM
